I have always loved creating – as if creativity has always been a part of me.

I work intuitively and playfully, and believe that it is within loose frameworks that the material is allowed to take over – and where the unexpected and genuine work emerges.

I grew up with the freedom to create without a fixed outcome, without rigid boundaries, and have always been drawn to the colours, forms and structures of nature.

I love that the foundation of my work is created by nature – hence the name Clæy.
